The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department has proposed to the deputy commissioner to suspend activities at eight schools in Chitral, in line with Covid-19 standard operating procedures, after students at these educational institutions tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to the district health officer, a total of 65 students have tested positive at the schools, which include four public and as many private educational institutions.
