Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, will be donating all revenue from its advertising and subscriptions “associated with the war in Gaza” to hospitals in Israel and the Red Crescent in Gaza, CEO Elon Musk said.

Responding to a query from one user asking how he’ll know the money won’t end up in the hands of Hamas, Musk said:

“We will track how funds are spent and go through Red Cross/Crescent. Better ideas are welcome. We should care about the innocent regardless of race, creed, religion or anything else.”
