Abdullah spends each day manually turning a bicycle wheel attached to his father’s sewing machine on the streets of Rafah, providing him with enough pedal power to continue mending clothes for a living when there is no electricity, Al Jazeera reports.

The father and son are among millions of Palestinians in Gaza having to adapt to survive amid the total destruction of cities and civilian infrastructure in the besieged enclave.
