Gaza death toll hits 45,059 since Israeli invasion last Oct, health ministry says

The Gaza health ministry has said that at least 45,059 people have been killed during more than 14 months of conflict between Israel and Hamas, AFP reports.

The toll includes 31 deaths in the previous 24 hours, according to the ministry, which said 107,041 people have been wounded in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
