Nine Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza despite ceasefire deal

Nine Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip, Wafa reports.

According to local sources, five civilians were killed and others were injured when an Israeli drone struck the Sha’af neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Medical officials confirmed the casualties.

Additionally, four more Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli artillery shelling in the northern town of Beit Lahiya.

In the southern Gaza Strip, several civilians were wounded when Israeli forces targeted them with heavy fire as they attempted to return to their homes in Rafah and Khan Younis. Both regions have been subjected to continuous Israeli artillery bombardment since the early hours of the day.
