Iran’s UN Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani says Tehran is not going to close the Strait of Hormuz, but added it was Iran’s inherent right to preserve the peace and security of the waterway, Reuters reports.
He has made these remarks while speaking to reporters at the United Nations.
