Operations at UAE gas field suspended due to fire: govt media office

The Abu Dhabi Media Office says that operations at the Shah gas field have been suspended due to a fire caused by a drone attack.

“Abu Dhabi authorities and relevant response teams have contained and brought under control a fire that broke out at Shah gas field, caused by a drone attack,” the government has said on X.

It adds that no injuries have been reported and a damage assessment is being carried out.
