The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority has announced the “temporary and full closure” of the country’s airspace, according to Al Jazeera.
It quoted state media as saying that the decision was “an exceptional precautionary measure” aimed at ensuring the safety of flights and safeguarding the UAE’s territory.
