Iran’s FM Abbas Araghchi has said his last contact with US envoy Steve Witkoff was “prior to his employer’s decision to kill diplomacy with another illegal military attack on Iran”.

He refuted a report of a direct communications channel between them being reactivated in recent days.

“Any claim to the contrary appears geared solely to mislead oil traders and the public,” he asserted.
