A Boeing B-52H Stratofortress is “squawking 7700 (emergency) east of Bristol”, Flightradar24 notes.

“Please note that the aircraft is tracked with MLAT so coverage will be lost below about 1000-2000 feet,” it added.

Earlier this month, three B-52 bombers landed in the UK after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer approved “defensive” US action against Iranian missile sites from UK bases.
