The Israeli military says it has begun striking what it calls “terror infrastructure” in the Lebanese capital Beirut, Reuters reports.

Reuters reporters have heard three loud blasts echoing across the city.

Lebanese media outlets have said the strikes hit Beirut’s southern suburbs, after Israel’s military spokesperson issued a new warning for the entire zone.
