US President Donald Trump has told The New York Post that Iran knows “what’s going to be happening soon”, expressing disappointment at Iran’s latest response to the US on ending the war, according to Al Jazeera.
The newspaper asked Trump about his comments on Friday, in which he said he was open to a 20-year pause on Iran’s nuclear programme.
“I’m not open to anything right now,” he has responded.
“In an ominous foreshadowing, Trump said Iran knows ‘what’s going to be happening soon,’” The Post reports.
