A spokesperson for Iran’s defence ministry says that the country’s ballistic and cruise missiles continue to be upgraded, the Fars news agency reports.

“The enhancement of priority and strategic weaponry such as ballistic and cruise missiles across various ranges, in line with threat assessments, is consistently pursued in the defence industry and armed forces,” the spokesperson is quote as saying.

“The all-in cost of producing weapons, equipment, and ammunition in Iran is between 10 and 20 times lower than comparable foreign equivalents,” they add.
