China says sanctions, pressure do not resolve issues

Sanctions and pressure tactics do not help in resolving issues, Chinese foreign ministry says, Reuters reports.

Regarding US sanctions’ threat, China says it “will closely watch relevant development and do what is necessary to protect our legitimate rights and interests”.

China has also called on concerned parties to act rationally and with restraint.
