ISPR says CDF Munir has departed for Iran

The military’s media affairs wing has said that Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have departed for Iran as part of “Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability”.

In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations said CDF Munir will “focus on promoting efforts towards peaceful, lasting and comprehensive resolution of the conflict in the Middle East”.
