Maritime tracking firm Kpler’s data shows that over the past 24 hours, only five vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz.

“Traffic edged higher through the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb last week, but headline volumes obscure contrasting risk signals,” Kpler says on X.

The monitor notes that Hormuz crossings remain lower than those in the Bab al-Mandeb.
