Qatar affirms support for diplomatic efforts to end Middle East war to Saudi Arabia

Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, have discussed diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate the ongoing situation in the Middle East, Qatar’s foreign ministry says.

During a phone call, Al-Thani reaffirmed Doha’s support for all diplomatic efforts for the freedom of maritime navigation and reaching a comprehensive agreement for lasting peace in the region.
