Oil prices have kept falling on expectations that talks between Iran and Qatar might lead to the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and reduce supply disruptions from the war in the Middle East, AlJazeera reports.
Brent crude futures LCOc1 were down $1.07, or 1.2 per cent, to $86.77 a barrel at 06:45 GMT, in line for a fourth day of declines.
West Texas Intermediate crude futures CLc1 fell $1.13, or 1.4pc, to $81.10, in line for a fifth day of losses.
