Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has called for unity among Muslim nations despite their differences, according to AlJazeera.

He makes the remarks while delivering a speech at the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran.

In his televised speech, the president condemns US-Israeli aggression against his country. “Iran stood strong against US-Israeli aggression,” Pezeshkian is quoted as saying by the state media.

“Iran is not in a weak position and it knows how to defend itself,” the president adds.
