Outgoing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt says that Iran is in a “devastating place” and facing severe inflation of over 100 per cent.
“They can’t pay their police, they can’t pay their military. They’re in a very weakened position already,” she tells Fox News in an interview, adding that US President Donald Trump and his Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, are “continuing to pull every economic lever”.
