The secretary-general of Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem has praised the resilience of various segments of Iranian society during the recent US-Israeli wars of aggression, stressing that perseverance will push back enemies and thwart their schemes, Press TV reports.

“The United States and Israel have failed in three wars against the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the unity and resilience of the Iranian nation,“ Qassem said as he delivered a speech on the occasion of Unity Week.

He was referring to two rounds of joint acts of aggression launched by the US and Israel against Iran in June 2025 and February 2026 and another round of US attacks against the country in July.

“As long as we stand firm and defend our rights and homeland, enemies will not manage to attain their objectives, no matter what sacrifices we might have to make or how many casualties we might sustain,” he added.
