2 killed in US strikes on Larak Island: Iranian state media

Two people were killed and several others injured in US strikes on Iran’s Larak Island, the governor of Qeshm County tells state news agency IRNA.

“During the attack on Larak Island on Sunday night, two people were killed and several others were injured,” Hossein Amir-Teymouri tells IRNA in an interview. “The injured are receiving medical treatment, and their treatment is currently underway.”

Referring to reports about the strikes circulated by some news outlets and on social media, the Qeshm County governor stresses following official channels and “reliable sources” for information concerning the incident.
