US President Donald Trump has called Iran a “failed nation” in a post on Truth Social, citing that it has no navy, air force or currency and are unable to pay their troops.

“Inflation is at 300 per cent, and their leadership is in total disarray and incapable of properly representing the country,” he writes.

“The only thing they have is fake news from the USA [and] a willingness to kill their protesters,” he addings, claiming that over 100,000 protesters have been killed by the administration in Tehran.

“They must be tried for war crimes against humanity … and a good line of ‘b*******’,” Trump concludes.
