Crude prices rise above $90 per barrel on US-Iran strikes

Oil prices jumped more than two per cent, with the Brent international benchmark rising above $90 a barrel after a fresh flare-up in the US-Iran war, AFP reports.

At around 1330 GMT (6:30pm PKT), Brent North Sea Crude was up by 2.5pc at $90.26 per barrel, while the US West Texas Intermediate was up by 2.5pc at $85.51 per barrel.
