Bahrain has condemned “treacherous Iranian air attacks” saying its forces destroyed a number of incoming projectiles, according to Al Jazeera.
“Iran continues its systematic aggression through its heinous attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” its military says in a statement.
It highlights its “unwavering resolve and high combat readiness”.
“The General Command affirms that all its weapons and units are at the highest levels of readiness and are fully prepared to defend the Kingdom.”
