Iran’s IRNA news agency, quoting the deputy coordinator of the army’s air defence, reports that 370 enemy aircraft have been shot down over the course of the war by indigenous systems.

Brigadier General Mohammad Sadeghian says the military built on “the valuable experiences of the 12-day war” last summer and “succeeded in planning for the war that took place on March 30 in such a way that they targeted more than 370 enemy aircraft“.

“Enemy planes and drones were shot down, an event that was unbelievable to them, because they thought that they had managed to hit all of the country’s defence radars on the first day of the war with a massive attack,” Sadeghian is quoted as saying by IRNA.
