Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, a spokesperson for the Iranian military, has detailed Tehran’s response to a US strike on Sirik earlier this week, which hit a wedding, IRNA reports.
According to the state news agency, Akraminia said that 15 minutes after the strike, the first Iranian missiles and drones were launched at four US bases in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait. He adds that Fatih 2 missiles and Arash 2 combat drones were used.
“He emphasised that Iran is now using asymmetric warfare tactics and combined tactics in its operations and has received very positive feedback from this approach, enabling it to hit targets with ease,” IRNA adds.
