Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has said that negotiations between Iran and Oman on safe routes in the Strait of Hormuz have reached the final stage, ISNA reports.

“Probably within the coming days, the understanding between the two countries to determine a temporary safe route will be registered with the International Maritime Organisation; I hope that some malicious parties will not interfere in this process again,” he was quoted as saying by ISNA.
