Local political figures have gathered for a sit-in in southern Lebanon’s Tyre district to protest deadly Israeli strikes, Al Jazeera reports.
The demonstration is being held outside a government building, where Lebanese flags, pictures of battered villages and banners denouncing ongoing Israeli attacks are being displayed, according to the National News Agency.
