Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a warning to nations “in this difficult region” aiming to undermine Ankara, Al Jazeera reports.

In a national address, Erdogan says Turkiye’s “dignified, calm stance should not lead anyone to different dreams” and that the country “will allow no one to operate on these lands”, without making further clarification.

“We will not watch hostile steps to encircle Turkiye from the sidelines; Turkiye is against no country, society, faith or culture,” he adds.
