Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud has called Yemen’s Houthi rebels “selfish” for putting their own interests above the welfare of the country’s people, according to Al Jazeera.

“The Houthis choose to prioritise their narrow interests over the interests of Yemen and resort to violence,” he says at a press conference in Moscow alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “The kingdom will not hesitate to protect its interests and fulfil its duties in a manner that achieves security in Yemen and the region.”
