Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad says Iran remains determined to fight foreign aggressors “until complete victory”, according to state news agency IRNA.
Speaking at a ceremony in the city of Taleghan, Nikzad says Iran stands firmly against the US and Israel, who “had the illusion of capturing Tehran in three days, with their divisive plots and an imposed war”.
He adds that Washington and Tel Aviv “failed to understand the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people, who, through resistance, resilience, and following the path of Imams and martyrs, made US-led military and economic pressures ineffective”.
