Bahrain said it will not attend any meeting with Iran to discuss the Strait of Hormuz until diplomatic ties between the two countries are restored, according to state media, Reuters reports.
According to AFP, Bahrain has highlighted attacks on infrastructure across the Gulf and says that security and stability in the region “cannot be preserved through a policy of appeasement”, calling for the strait to be open without “discrimination, fees or permits”.
