US officials have raised the matter of Beijing providing Tehran with satellite images ahead of an attack on a US base in the Middle East to China, adding that it could come up again when US President Donald Trump welcomes Chinese President Xi Jinping to the White House on September 24, AFP reports.

Chinese officials have asked for proof of the transfer of satellite imagery when prodded by the US officials, refusing to acknowledge that Chinese companies were involved in providing Tehran with satellite images, a report from The Wall Street Journal says.
