Yemen’s internationally recognised government has condemned Houthi drone and ballistic missile attacks on Saudi Arabia, saying they targeted civilian areas in Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif yesterday, Al Jazeera reports.

The country’s foreign ministry says 13 civilians were injured and multiple homes and vehicles were damaged, according to the state-run Saba news agency.

It deems the attacks a violation of Saudi sovereignty and rejects its territory being used as a “launching pad for attacks on neighbouring countries”, additionally calling on the international community to take action to prevent Houthi attacks.
