Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has accused the Trump administration of “projection,” saying Washington’s accusations against Tehran describe “the very actions the United States itself has initiated, perpetrated, or supported”, Al Jazeera reports.

In a post on X, he called the White House’s list of accusations against Iran a “flight from reality,” adding, “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing,” quoting the Bible verse ‘Proverbs 28:1’.
