Saudi Arabia’s stock market opened lower today after Yemen’s Houthis said they struck “sensitive” targets in Riyadh with missiles and drones, with the subdued sentiment spreading across Gulf bourses, Reuters reports.
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index .TASI fell 0.5 per cent, led by a 0.6pc decline in oil major Saudi Aramco 2222.SE and a 0.5pc fall in the country’s biggest lender by assets Saudi National Bank 1180.SE.
In Qatar, the main index .QSI fell 0.9pc, pressured by a 3.7pc drop in petrochemical producer Industries Qatar IQCD.QA.
