Terrorists attack two check posts with drones in Dera Ghazi Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Dera Ghazi Khan police foiled drone attacks by terrorists on two check posts on the boundary of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

District Police Officer Sadiq Baloch told this scribe that terrorists belonging to the Fitna al-Khawarij carried out drone attacks on the Jhangi and Lakhani pickets of the Wahowa Police Station.

The terrorists dropped three bombs from a drone on the Jhangi check post, one landed on the roof and two outside. Similarly, two bombs were dropped on Lakhani, one landing on the rooftop and the other in the courtyard.

The police personnel responded promptly and foiled the attack, averting major damage.

One employee was slightly injured in the attack on the Lakhani check post, the DPO stated and added that the terrorists fled after police retaliated.

A police search operation is going on in the area following the incident.
