QUETTA: Balochistan Police have decided to further strengthen their impartial accountability system and ensure the effective, transparent and timely redressal of public complaints.

A meeting in this regard was held under the chairmanship of DIG Internal Accountability Branch (IAB) Barkat Hussain Khosa and was attended by IAB officers from the concerned districts.

The meeting reviewed in detail the overall performance of the IAB in addressing public complaints in light of special directives issued by the Inspector General of Police, Balochistan.

The DIG IAB directed officers to ensure effective, transparent and timely action on public complaints under all circumstances. He said unnecessary delays, negligence or lapses in addressing complaints would not be tolerated.

It was decided that all serious complaints would be immediately referred to a “Panel of Enquiries”.
