Kodak moment

Noun

Definition: A phrase used to denote a particular moment that will never be forgotten. Kodak cameras used this expression as part of their advertising many years ago.

Examples: “The phone is a great way to avoid missing a Kodak moment.”

“Even policemen stood on chairs to capture a Kodak moment.”

“As the toddler gained his balance, and stood up for the first time, his dad realised the Kodak moment at hand.”

“It wasn’t exactly a Kodak moment, but it summed up his sentiment.
