Three Americans among Gaza hostages set for release: US official

Three Americans, including a child, will be among the first hostages released by Hamas in Gaza Strip when an agreed four-day truce with Israel takes effect, a senior US official has said, AFP reports.

“We have one child, a three-year-old girl named Abigail… And we have two women,” the official said, adding that negotiations dragged on in an “excruciating five-week process”.
