At least 20 people have been killed, including seven children and five women, in the latest Israeli bombardment on the southern Gaza city of Rafah, Al Jazeera reports quoting Palestinian medical sources as saying.

The strikes in the north of the city destroyed three homes. People are feared to be trapped under the rubble.

Tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians have fled to Rafah after evacuation orders by the Israeli army but the city has been subjected to heavy bombing in recent days, the news outlet said.
