Dozens of Jewish protesters shut down a major freeway in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning to demand a ceasefire in Gaza, TRT World reports in a video posted to X.

Protesters with the IfNotNow organization blocked rush hour traffic at 9am, wearing t-shirts reading “Not in Our Name” and chanting, “the occupation has got to go”.

About 75 protesters were detained when California Highway Patrol officers began clearing the highway around 10am, Reuters reports, citing the highway patrol.
