The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) has said Hamas’s statement on the Gaza peace plan also expresses the position of other Palestinian groups, Al Jazeera reports.
The PIJ “participated responsibly in the consultations that led to this decision”, the group said in a brief statement on Telegram.
In its response to Trump’s plan, Hamas said it was ready to release captives held in Gaza, but wanted negotiations on the details and a say in the future of the Palestinian territory.
