Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have issued a statement saying a fire that broke out at Abu Dhabi’s old airport has been brought under control, Al Jazeera reports.
The Abu Dhabi media office said the fire broke out following a “successful interception by air defence systems”.
It did not specify the type of projectile or where it originated from.
