Authorities in Qatar have issued an alert saying a “security threat has been eliminated and the situation has returned to normal”, Al Jazeera reports.
This follows a second “elevated” security threat alert that was sent out a “short while ago”, the report added.
Qatar’s defence ministry has said its armed forces “successfully intercepted a second wave of missiles attacks, which targeted the State of Qatar”.
