A drone attack has targeted the US embassy in Baghdad, a security source has told AFP, and an AFP journalist reports hearing an explosion.
A security official told AFP that “a drone directly hit the embassy”, but did not specify whether there was any damage. A second security official said the drone fell “near the embassy’s security fence”.
