Bahrain announces curfew for maritime traffic: ministry

Bahrain has announced a maritime curfew designed to improve security on its waters, reports AFP.

A nighttime ban on maritime traffic will stretch from 6pm local time until 4am “to safeguard the safety of seafarers and sea-goers and to enhance the security of Bahrain’s coastlines amid the blatant Iranian aggression”, the ministry of interior said in a statement.
