‘War crimes’: Iranian Red Crescent condemns attacks on 17 civilian areas

The Iranian Red Crescent said US-Israeli air attacks have struck 17 civilian areas across the country today.

In a statement posted on X, the organisation said: “There is no justification for attacking civilians; international humanitarian law explicitly states that attacking defenceless civilians is a war crime.”
