Finland, US discuss Middle East in Washington meeting

Finland’s Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington, DC, Al Jazeera reports citing the Finnish embassy.

In a post on X, the Embassy of Finland in the United States has said the meeting covered “transatlantic security, Russia’s war against Ukraine, and the situation in the Middle East”.

It added that Finland–US relations “remain close, with an active and ongoing dialogue”.
